Best song to listen after a breakup, New Radicals-Someday We’ll Know

November 26th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in New Radicals

Well it basically is never easy getting over a break-up. Especially when it was a mutual decision or you have accepted the other person never really meant to hurt you and just needs to be alone for a while. They say that if you really love someone, you have to set them free and if they don’t come back they were not really yours to begin with. You need to be one hell of a strong person to be able to do that!! And if that’s what you’re doing right now, I would say, damn, you guys will have happy endings someday. Love like that doesn’t come everyday. Anyhow I think New Radicals - Someday We’ll Know is one of the best songs to listen to when you want to move on. The song is about not getting over the one that got away, but in the end time heals all wounds. The lyrics are brilliant and if you read the original lyrics, the ending, was not included in the song but it makes a whole lot of difference once you read it. Here’s the lyrics and enjoy the video. You can also check out their whole album HERE! or download it HERE!

P/s:- If anyone has a higher quality video of it please let me know! Thanks!

90 miles outside chicago
Cant stop driving
I dont know why
So many questions
I need an answer
Two years later
Youre still on my mind
Whatever happened to emilia earhart
Who holds the stars up in the sky
Is true love once in a lifetime
Did the captain of the titanic cry
Chorus:
Someday well know
If love can move a mountain
Someday well know
Why the sky is blue
Someday well know
Why I wasnt meant for you
Does anybody know the way to atlantis
Or what the wind says when she cries
Im speeding by the place where I met you
For the 97th time tonight
(chorus)
Someday well know
Why samson loved delilah
One day Ill go
Dancing on the moon
Someday youll know
That I was the one for you
I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow
I watched the stars crash in the sea
If I could ask God just one question
Why arent you here with me?
(chorus)
Someday well know
Why sampson loved delilah
One day Ill go
Dancing on the moon
Someday youll know
That I was the one for you
Postscript: seeing you in february was great
Cliches eventually all come true
Time heals all wounds
I went to get us our 9th drink
And you ran out the door with another guy
I woke up on the floor with my shoes on
A smile on my face and I didnt even care

New Radicals = greatness in the 90’s

August 5th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in New Radicals, Uncategorized

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. Well I’ve been meaning to put this album up for a while now. 10 years ago, I heard a song called “You get what you give” that made me sing to it over and over again. I still find my self loving and singing to it up till now and I never get bored of it!

I found out it was New Radicals a new alternative cum rock band, I bought the album, listened to it and thought, “Wow!! Finally there is some greatness in music in the 90’s!”. I absolutely love this album, if you lived through the 90’s, you’ve definitely heard of them. Its a pity though they broke up after their second single “Someday we’ll know“. Until now I think this is one of the best albums during the 90’s. Just wished they didn’t end with just one album. My favorite song in this album would be “Crying like a church on Monday“,it’s the last song in the playlist, really listen to it, the title says it all! If you don’t have the album, what on earth were you thinking?!?!! Get it HERE!!
